Adam, I don't see the hammock? If someone wanted to send you a care pkg while on the trail, how would we know when & where to send it? Will all your posts be able to be read here? I'm getting anxious for you to get started and hope you and Frank have time to keep this journal up to date as I'm sure many folks will be following you. Poppie
Poppie, I decided to go with a tent instead of the hammock; the hammock gets cold underneath due to the lack of insulation (i.e. ground). I may opt for it during the hot months. I'm still trying to figure out my exact coordinates for mail-drops, all of my posts will be here on the blog so I'll keep you posted on what towns I'll be in.
