My journey begins now
I write to you from the 12:40 Amtrak train out of metropark, nj. My goodbyes have been said and there is not much left to do other than hike. I arrive in Adam's hometown at 4:39 where I have been promised "a canoe full of beer". I have much to look forward to!

I wish for you and Adam nothing but great adventures and memories. When you return home we look foward to many a great story. I will miss you Frankie (and worry as only a mom can and must) but I know this is an opportunity of a lifetime! What a great and understanding boss you have:)

I dropped Adam and Frank off at the Trail head at Springer Mt yesterday and hiked to the top with them. Weather was cold and rainy but they both were warm and sunny. They will do great. Can't wait to hear their trail names when they get them.
