A little trail magic to start the day
Got to the parking lot where we could hitch a ride to town this morning and sandy from the local AT club was waiting with bags of candy for hikers coming through. She even gave 3 of us smelly hikers a ride into Franklin, NC. That's what hikers call trail magic. Kindness of strangers helping others

ReplyDeleteHey, somemore nice pictures, I have accumulated 51 pictures and 3 trail maps so far,I only have 845 GB's left on my hard drive, maybe I should be thinking about a new computer with a bigger HD or I could start a DVD collection :>)

Love the pics guys ...you guys look so happy. Read today that in 20 minutes an AT thru hiker walks more than the average American does in a week!! Glad you're meeting some great Americans ... what a great country we live in. Don't gorget to smell the roses as you log your miles ... oh, and yes, the burgers and fries in Franklin too!! Hike your hikes, run the 12, and don't be the other, other guy. Gambatte!
